A data-driven fintech portal engineered to bring radical transparency to the Forex brokerage industry. Features a proprietary 100-point TrustMetrics scoring engine that analyzes real-time spread data, execution speeds, and regulatory compliance.
The Challenge
Alpha Trade Circle was struggling with database locks and WebSocket frame drops during high market volatility. Their legacy LAMP stack could not support 14 global broker feeds simultaneously, resulting in latency spikes exceeding 2 seconds and causing active trading users to lose access during volatile market announcements.
Architectural Solution
We decoupled read workloads by constructing a high-speed Redis Pub/Sub broadcast layer. WebSockets feed updates to the client in under 12ms, while PgBouncer pools connections to PG and edge endpoints cache static reports. We shifted broker queries to serverless edge routes hosted on Vercel to optimize global responsiveness.
Business Outcome
Processed 2M+ tick updates daily with zero frame drops. Reduced server hosting costs by 70% and latency by 99%, successfully holding up during volatile news triggers.
